Car Valeting Quote Template

Valeting is priced by the car and by its condition, and that is where most quote disputes start: a "full valet" means different things to different customers. A clear quote lists what each package includes, the size of vehicle it is priced for, and what costs extra, so the customer knows exactly what they are getting before you arrive.

Name the package and spell out what it covers, such as wash, decontamination, wheels, interior vacuum, glass and dressings, then list add-ons separately: machine polishing, protective coatings, upholstery shampoo, pet hair or odour treatment. Note the vehicle's size band and condition, because a heavily soiled seven-seater takes twice as long as a clean hatchback.

For mobile work, say whether you bring your own water and power or need the customer's, and whether a travel charge applies outside your usual area. A short validity, and a note that heavily soiled vehicles may carry a surcharge agreed before you start, keeps the price fair for both sides.

Car valeting quote FAQs

How should I price valeting by vehicle size?

Most valeters use size bands such as small, medium, large and 4x4 or van, with a price for each package in each band. Put the band on the quote alongside the registration so there is no argument on the day.

Should I charge extra for pet hair or heavy soiling?

Many valeters do, because both can double the time a job takes. List it as a separate line with a price, or note that a surcharge may apply after inspection, and agree it before you start.

What should a mobile valeter say about water and power?

State whether you carry your own water and power or need the customer's tap and socket, and whether you need space around the car. It saves wasted journeys and awkward conversations on the driveway.

You have got the paperwork. The website is the other half.

These templates make your quote look right. If it arrives from a Facebook page, or from nothing at all, that undoes some of the work. CGI Web Services builds a one page trade website for £99, then £14.99 a month to host it and keep it working. Same people who built this site.
