Car Valeting Invoice Template

Valeting invoices are usually small and often paid on the spot, but a proper invoice still matters. Business and fleet customers need one for their accounts, and regular private customers like a record of what was done and when. This template lists the vehicle, the package and every extra, ready to hand over or email when you finish.

Put the registration on every invoice, especially for fleets and dealers where you may do several vehicles in a day. Itemise the package and the add-ons separately, and show any surcharge agreed on the day with a short reason, such as heavy pet hair.

Give each invoice a sequential number and state your payment terms: on completion is normal for private customers, while 14 or 30 days suits business accounts. If you run maintenance valets on a schedule, one monthly invoice listing each visit keeps things simple for everyone.

Car valeting invoice FAQs

How do I invoice a fleet or dealer for several cars?

List each vehicle on its own line with its registration and the service done, or attach a schedule, so the customer's accounts team can match every line to a car. A monthly invoice with sequential numbers works well for regular business accounts.

Do valeters need to charge VAT?

Only if you are VAT registered, which in the UK is compulsory once your turnover passes the registration threshold. If you are registered, show your VAT number and the VAT amount; if not, leave VAT off the invoice entirely.

What payment terms suit a mobile valeting business?

Payment on completion, by card or transfer, suits private customers. For businesses, 14 or 30 days is common. Either way, put the due date on the invoice.

These templates make your quote look right. If it arrives from a Facebook page, or from nothing at all, that undoes some of the work. CGI Web Services builds a one page trade website for £99, then £14.99 a month to host it and keep it working. Same people who built this site.
