Body Shop Quote Template
Bodywork quotes are judged on detail. A customer comparing three body shops will look at which panels are being repaired or replaced, whether the paint will be blended, and why one price is higher than another. This template sets the job out panel by panel, with labour, parts and paint materials on separate lines and the vehicle identified at the top.
List each operation: remove and refit, repair, replace, refinish and blend, with the labour time for each. Paint and materials are usually charged as their own line rather than buried in the labour, and many shops calculate them from the paint time. Note the paint code, and whether replacement panels are genuine or aftermarket.
Photos taken at inspection back the quote up and protect you on hidden damage. Say that the price covers visible damage only and that anything found once panels are off will be shown to the customer and quoted before work continues. For insurance work, record the claim number and who is paying the excess.

Why should paint and materials be a separate line?
Paint, primer, lacquer and consumables are a real and variable cost, and showing them separately explains why two quotes for the same panel differ. Many body shops calculate materials from the paint time, which keeps the charge consistent from job to job.
Should I mention blending on a bodywork quote?
Yes. Blending paint into neighbouring panels is often needed for an invisible colour match, and a customer who sees one damaged panel can be surprised to find two on the bill. Name the panels you expect to blend and say why.
How do I quote for damage I cannot see yet?
Price the visible damage firmly and add a clear note that hidden damage found after stripping will be photographed, shown to the customer and quoted separately before any extra work. That keeps the headline price honest without leaving you out of pocket.

Quote templates for other motor trades
You have got the paperwork. The website is the other half.
These templates make your quote look right. If it arrives from a Facebook page, or from nothing at all, that undoes some of the work. CGI Web Services builds a one page trade website for £99, then £14.99 a month to host it and keep it working. Same people who built this site.
